No peace, no peace I find, just this old, sweet song, keeps small dogs on my mind.

I hope every one had a wonderful holiday full of small dog love.

So this is old news now, but Michael Vick has headed off to jail to get a jump start on his prison term. He spent Thanksgiving at the Northern Neck Regional Jail in Warsaw, Va. and enjoyed a pretty tradish meal of turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce, rice and sweet potato pie. He is scheduled to be officially sentenced on December 10. Big money Michael, come on big money! Stop on $400 and a trip to the Bahamas.

Willie Nelson recently recorded a spot for tv supporting an anti-dogfighting bill in Georgia. Meanwhile, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Kelly Ripa and Nathan Lane are helping to raise awareness for puppy mills this holiday. A press release issued by the US Humane Society says that these stars are not putting puppy mill cruelty on their holiday gift list. Dear Santa, I’ll take a baker’s dozen of small dogs, hold the puppy mill cruelty.

Michelle Maginnity, a psychology researcher from Canterbury University believes that dogs can read minds.

Congratulations to Oliver, a bullmastif who won the RSPCAs dog of the year competition.

I’ll drink to that:

Love your small dog blog. And it isn’t just because I love small dogs. Well, ok, it’s mostly that.

    Dear SD,

    ***IMPORTANT QUESTION****

How close do small dogs have to be to you to read minds??? AND do walls provide any kind of barrier?

For example, could a small dog in the next room 30 feet away from me read my mind?

    Best regards,
    Stephanie
