I wear my small dog sunglasses at night. So I can, so I can, watch you weave then breathe your story lines.

Matthew wrote to me asking if I had ever heard of Doggles, which reminded me that I recently saw someone walking down the street in Brooklyn wearing what looked like Doggles. I wish I had the guts.

Back by popular demand, here are a few more photos of the pup with a lot of personality. He can drive, he can pose, I bet he even read minds. Joan, please tell us, does he read minds??? Ladies and gentlemen, once again, I present to you, Stewart!

Do you know where you’re going to? Do you like the things small dogs are showing you? What are you hoping for? Do you know?

There is a great deal of violence against small dogs in the news today. The most disturbing headline of all, Girl finds severed head of missing dog in gift-wrapped box. This is so sick, sad and cruel. I hope they catch the awful person that did this!

You say you’ll change the small dog constitution. Well, you know. We all want to change your head.

Talk about going postal on the job: Co-worker feud endangers life of nine-month-old puppy.

I want to introduce everyone to a very special pup today. After a Brussels Griffon named Stewie appeared on this site, Joan wrote me an enthusiastic message about her Brussels Griffon Stewart. This is definitely cosmic, now that mercury is out of retrograde, the planets are aligning, I don’t even know what that means. I do know this though: Stewart is a 3-year old Capricorn. He is very sweet, loves other animals, and even has a loving relationship with a Tabby Cat named Olly. They sometimes groom each other. Stewart loves going on road trips, wearing outfits, and getting his picture taken. He really likes giving kisses and sticking his tongue deep into the nasal passages of the person he is kissing (photos please). In the meantime, here’s Stewart!

Yesterday, I mentioned a pup that was born in Vietnam that allegedly resembles an elephant. Honestly, from this photo, I believe this pup more closely resembles a lamb with a human tongue. Thoughts?

I thought this feat of heroism was worth mentioning. Man Saves Dog With Mouth-To-Snout Action. Randy Gurchin rescued his pup Lucy, a 10-month old English Bulldog, after she fell through the ice on a partial frozen lake. Mouth-to-mouth on a baby Bulldog????? No comment.

Oh, give me a home where the buffalo roam, Where the small dogs and the antelope play, Where seldom is heard a discouraging word, And the skies are not cloudy all day

The new trend appears to be fur coloring for dogs, Coloured pooches setting the trend. My hair has been blue, pink, purple, blonde and a variety of other colors, so, who am I to judge? I just hope people recognize how expensive it is to maintain those roots!

I’ve got more than one membership to more than one club and I owe my life to the small dogs that I love

Cold4thetreets sent me an article that has these photos of Weasel, the Border Terrier Cross that was born with no ears. Apparently, he actually has the ability to hear it’s just that he doesn’t have any ears or ear openings. Fascinating.

Moira wrote the Dog Lady explaining that, ever since the big snip, she has been unable to come to terms with her small dog Simon’s gender identity. He seems to be a little too “in touch with his feminine side.” Moira rebukes those who incorrectly call her Scottish Terrier a she. The Dog Lady responds, “Simon’s identity is part of your identity…You must admit private parts are difficult to discern at first glance on squat, hairy fellows – especially because we can’t sniff under the skirts the way the dogs can.” I am not sure I fully understand that last part there! Anyone?

Dear Moira:

Might I suggest you pick up something by Michel Foucault or Judith Butler?
