And all the small dogs in Tokyo couldn’t make me stay.

Small dog genetics have been all over the news! There has been some discussion about shrinking down big dogs to make them miniature sized, but conversely does this mean that soon we will be able to create Rottweiler sized Chihuahuas? Or Yorkies the size of Great Danes? Blasphemy!

I went for a walk in the woods with Buster this weekend, photos soon to come.
I’ll drink to that:

Smalldogarific-
I read “The Small Dog Gene” article; fascinating yet frightening.
You raised an interesting question. I love chihuahuas, but the thought of a 100lb one scares me. Is it wrong to feel this way?
On a side note the first photo you posted made me think of the topic of small dog/large dog cohabitation. Does it really work? Do the two parties have to make concessions? In theory it looks cute, especially when there is a resemblance between the dogs.

As for your other questions, not even i have the answers. It is especially cute when a small/big dog pair wear matching bandannas around their necks though, isn’t it?
